Hi there! My name is Anton Tsygankov. I was born in Moscow, Russia, during the Soviet Union era, into a family of well-known musicians. My father and mother were brilliant and renowned folk and world music composers. They taught me to play a few musical instruments even before I could speak properly. When I was 13, I fell in love with rock music and added the electric guitar to my repertoire of instruments. With this new skill, I won prizes at 11 internationally and nationally organized rock guitar music contests between 1997 and 2007. I was also the 1st runner-up at the North American Rock Guitar Competition in 2007.

In 2005, after graduating from Gnesins College of Music and the University of Modern Arts, I released my first rock-oriented CD, the “ANTI Anton Tsygankov project.” I have worked with many pop stars and great producers as a session musician and I have done audio work for internationally renowned acts. I have performed in various incarnations of “American Idol” and I have travelled to over 30 countries with various pop bands.

Presently, I’m a tour guitarist for one of the top 10 dance bands in Russia and I run a solo music project called MOSCOW ALIEN, focusing mainly on EDM. For my solo performances, I designed and built my own musical instrument, an EDM guitar. I use it whenever I perform one of my live electronic sets as MOSCOW ALIEN.

I’m a samples and loops vendor for LOOPMASTERS and I also produce high-quality hip-hop audio beats for lease and sale. The beats are unique as they are based on guitar grooves and feature Russian folk instruments.
